I ask you - why would I be against others buying the book if I am buying it myself?
However proud she claims she is of the infamous "Forewarning" I would offer the opinion that since it's publication it has continued to haunt her and hang around Evelyn's neck with all the dignity of a smelly, dirty diaper. And it remains there. It ruined her credibility. Absolutely. She will boast otherwise, of course, but trust me, I speak the truth. Yet she deliberately thrust this "Forewarning" onto the world. Truth be damned.
Let me be clear - I have and continue to have NO opposition to her book. The ONLY thing I ever was opposed to is the Forewarning. Everyone - including her is fully entitled to have their work out there. As it should be! I don't know a single person who is against the book. None! The Forewarning? Yes. The book? No.
Yet Evelyn harped on about it was 'the book they don't want you to read'. That she had death threats and was in hiding because of her bravery to tell this story. No, No. No. God, will you ever tell the truth, woman?
Again, I was against the "Forewarning" I have said it over and over, yet Evelyn Zumaya wears the pity-party hat rather proudly albeit foolishly. She attempts to deceive the web readers with her lies that I wrote negative reviews. NO, I did not. And I don't lie. Evelyn Zumaya would be unable to show you a single thing I personally wrote about the book - outside the Forewarning, because I haven't. I did, jokingly say the book was pure fiction but I was only referring to the reams of created fictional dialogue she created for the book, not the book itself. I truly believe it was detrimental to her book. I do not go against peoples books. In fact, I purchased both of Evelyn's books - the embarrassing telephone book sized first edition, as well as the newer, 2nd edition. I also bought the Companion Guide book. You haven't heard me say a peep negative about any of that. Why would I?
What do I think of Evelyn as a person? Anyone who would write something like the vile Forewarning isn't a nice person. Not by a long shot. I waited ONE whole year to personally say anything about my Court case. A whole year. The only reason I started to write, after a year is that on this very blog she was hammering away untruths about me and my court case, uncontested. LET THAT SINK IN ON WHAT SHE WAS DOING - I felt I needed to say what really happened. Trust me I asked myself then - and now - WHY was she even involving herself in it? It had nothing to do with her. Anyways, the night I created and posted the first entry onto "Valentino Wept" saying I would be telling the truth and laying it all out. On the very next morning Evelyn Zumaya saw fit to mock me as being 'oh how maudlin' and Evelyn created another blog called "Valentino Laughed" the very next day!
Please keep in mind that even earlier she had created a blog called Valentino Speaks where - you guessed it she attacked me by saying things about me that were absolutely not true.
Lastly, lets not forget her Christmas video which she created a venomous hate filled Christmas "rhyme" poem video all about me that she read over a video of the Christmas song It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. She posted that on Youtube. This, from a woman I have never met, nor spoken a single word to.
Evelyn is a victim? Oh really? Please tell me why she's created blogs of hate including this very blog, at one point to attack me. She's created videos to attack me. She put me in the Forewarning of her book as a Valentino Cult Leader who people feared might shoot them in the back of the head at a Valentino screening. I kid you not it's in the 'Forewarning'. All this and MORE has poured from the pen of Evelyn Zumaya who - says she's PROUD of everything she's written.

ReplyDeleteNONE of us have told anyone not to buy her books. I have criticised the content of most of them because they DO contain reams of fictitious dialogue, giving the impression that she was present at the key events in Valentino’s life. Because they contain stories that she has made up: her flagrant claims that he was SO heterosexual that he was a sex pest to women and impregnated his own sister-in-law. Because of her nonsensical claim that Frank Mennillo was his godfather, and died in his arms. Because if her persistent dispelling of the truth behind Valentino and André Daven—attempting to drag Daven down to his level by making him out to be some kind of nobody, when all the time he was a member of the French music-hall heirachy. Indeed, his most recent attack on Daven is as ludicrous as he is—posting the second-most-recognised photograph of the great showman, the one which appears in EVERY encyclopedia entry including those of the Bibliotheque Nationale and La Cinematheque Francaise, EVERY retrospective of his career, and having the gall—and crass stupidity—to say that it is not him! And here’s the hilarious bit! Mumbles posted the picture on the morning of 2 July, read my comment later that day, and then posted the email he had “just received” from the director of La Cinematheque Francaise saying that it was not Daven in the picture—save that the email is dates 7 January! You couldn’t make this stuff up. Well, Mumble does!
“The Team”, as she calls us, have not “diverted traffic” away from her doing business—though personally speaking, it is a well-known fact that traffic gets naturally diverted after a car-crash has taken place, and whatever she does is no car-crash, but a pile-up!

ReplyDeleteSHE wrote the Forewarning which resulted in a universal blacklisting of everything she has done, or will ever do. Then she decided that it had been written by Michael Morris, a bitter queen who happened to cross my path some years ago. Then she changed her mind! She is so wrapped up in hatred that for much of the time she has no clue what she is doing, repeating anecdotes she has written ten years ago, wildly embellished.
I call her The Madwoman of Turin because, time and time again, she has proved herself to be certifiable. Anyone reading, watching or listening to her rants would form the same opinion. She portrays herself as the victim, the wounded little lamb cowering under the hedgerow—save that this little lamb has razor blades for teeth and spits poisn, and will devour as soon as look at you.
I call him Mr Mumbles because most of what he says is incomprehensible. As for his holier-than-thou “I demand that you genuflect before me” postings, I avow that most of not all of these are written by hear. He simply does not have the nouse to pen them himself His boasts of his achievements make him a laughing-stock. The culmination of his 70+ years on this earth, as with hers, is that they will leave behind them nothing of substance, nothing of value, nothing that anyone will commend them for--just a legacy of prejudice and hate.
A typical day for these two is to have US—not Valentino—on their brains every waking moment. They troll our Twitter sites and those of the ones to whom we Tweet. They troll the groups under fake names, much as they deny this. If someone writes anything negative—and I am yet to see anyone write anything positive about these two—they, under their fake aliases, assume that it is one of us attacking them under a fake name. She tells us how “It was brought to my attention by a follower”. She’s on the group, for heaven’s sake! Over the years, she has had me down under seven different names. She has sworn blind that Cindy Martin is Jeanine Villalobos, and that her son Dallas—a decent young man, I might add—does not exist. Indeed, such is her warped mind regarding the later that she has DEMANDED that he post a picture of him holding one of her books to prove that he exists! Why would anybody want to do that?
I am not in any group, which she will deny. That’s her problem, not mine. But I do see how many people are in these groups—THOUSANDS! Then I check the groups hosted by Madwoman and Mumbles. The last one had FIVE members. Their new one has TWENTY, two of which are them. Hardly anyone writes anything there, the same as NO ONE leaves comments on her blogs. She’ll try telling us that this is because we’ll attack them if they do. Rubbish! How can we attack people she has made up?
But, they will keep on bleating, they will keep on telling us how wonderful they are, how scholarly and entertaining…and we will keep on laughing.
Questions with no truthful answers. The world is not a nice place right now and with continuance of anger and hate all for what? I will always stand and support truth any day....
ReplyDeleteWell I will only say that I am not intimidated by Eveylyn or Renato. I do think her books does have some truth in them. I will however say no my Mother and I will not take any photos with any books or newspapers to "prove" that we are real people. Simon Constable knows we are real since he spent some time with us when he visited America. I have a photo of me and his traveling companion which was very kind. Yes, we so have ancestral ties to Natacha's family which my mom has wrote about in her group. I think Evelyn wants to have me change my view, but I will not. My Mother helped her try to get what she wanted and now I see her just become bitter. I don't care about her attempts to be a "heroine" in the Valentino Community. I think it is time we let go of his sexuality and just let others think what they want to. I don't think his fans care who he slept with or how many. We care about his art and that should be it. It is like me being obsessed about who Frida Kahlo slept with in her life. I love Frida Kahlo a ton, but I know she is more than who she slept with. I feel so much of Evelyn's blogs and podcasts are to argue with others about things NO ONE CARES ABOUT. I do hope Evelyn finds her peace one day. I just am disgusted on how she tried to blackmail my Mother in trying to prove she was a real person. Evelyn is not the law at all. I know she will make a blog post about me most likely, but hey let her eat cake as my idol Marie Antoinette was accused of saying by the French Media. Like Miss Marie Antoinette I do not care about haters.
